It has been noticed especially
recently that there have been a lot of postponements, sometimes it is
unavoidable due to holidays etc but what can be avoided is not giving your
opponents the necessary and required 1 weeks’ notice as per the league rules
(see rule 12).
It is not right that a venue
puts food on and have a team ready to play then the game is cancelled without
the necessary notice (as you may know if it has happened to yourselves)
Each team captain (or vice captain) is responsible of making sure they have a team ready for the following week checking you have enough players available, checking that if some are on holiday or on a shift, this is why you need a large squad!
There is no claiming of games under any circumstance,
all games must be played regardless of how they were cancelled
(see rule 12 & 13).
From now on any teams failing
to give the one weeks’ notice will be removed from the league if repeated
(see rule 12).
